Math 145, Winter 99: Chaos Theory

Lab #8: Complex systems
Most applications of chaos theory to the sciences involve complex systems. Among the most interesting are the cellular dynamical systems, with which pattern formation processes are modeled.

In this last (optional) lab, you are encouraged to explore models of bird flocks and fish schools, using the starlogo program. To do this you must download and install it from its home, MIT, unless you find it on your machine already: Download Starlogo

When ready, open the folder "Starlogo 2.0.4 Distribution" and then the folder "Sample Projects" and then "Biology" or whatever you like.
