Size of Cheops' Pyramid
According to Cole's data, the sides of the
square base of the Great Pyramid meaured:
- North: 755.43 feet,
- South: 756.08 feet,
- East: 755.88 feet,
- West: 755.77 feet,
as given by Edwards, p. 98.
The largest difference of these four measures,
between the North side (shortest) and
the South side (longest) is 7.9 inches.
Referred to the shortest side,
about three city blocks long,
this is an error
of less than one part in 1000.
