On 05/19/03):
Number of X points required to pass
is reduced from 10 to 5.
Further, proposals are now optional.
Re GRADES:
IF you satisfy the new standard for passing
(you MUST have a midterm, project presentation and report, and X>=5)
you will get an A if you are:
- EITHER, in the top third of midterm scores (7 or above)
- OR, in the top third of X scores (6 or above)
- OR, in the top third of project evaluations.
Re DEADLINES:
- X>=5 and MIDTERM by 10T (6/03/03, 1:45 pm in my hands)
- Project written report by 11T (in my hand by 11:00 am on 6/10/03)
