3/05/05:
  • Written reports of projects (one per team) are due.
  • The deadline for late quizes has past.
  • OH#10, the last office hour: Tuesday, Mar. 08, 3:30-4:30 pm, in the Hungry Slug.
  • All students should be present for the Final, and submit comments on the presentations. (Thursday, March 17, 4-7 pm)

  • There is a new lab, Lab #4, on basin discovery (optional)
2/25/05:
  • NEW RULE: everyone with approved project proposal should present their project on March 17, 4-7 pm, including teams and individuals (see list)
  • The deadline for Project Proposals has passed
  • OH#9: My office hour next week will be: Wednesday, Mar. 02, 2:30 -- 3:30 pm, in the Hungry Slug.
2/17/05:
  • NOTE: Passing requires, and grades depend on, Quizes #1-4 and the Project Report.
    Final deadlines for these are:
    • Meeting #9 (10 am, March 03, 2005) for Quizes #1, 2, 3, or 4.
    • Meeting #10 (10 am, March 10, 2005) for the Project Report.
  • Links for Richard Taylor et all work on the fractal dimension of Jackson Pollack paintings have been posted to the Experimental Aesthetics web site (References).

  • Quiz #3 results: 7 out of 20 students turned in EXCELLENT Quiz #3's. I was very pleased that distance learning with these three applets seems to work.
  • In case you have no score on Quiz #3, you are still OK if you have very good scores on Quiz #2 AND Quiz #4.
  • The discussion today was GREAT.
