HOW TO SFTP

From your own computer: Install SFTP software if not already

(Consult the UCSC-ITS SSH/SFTP help page)

In UCSC Mac labs, Fetch is already installed

Setup your your SFTP client to point to your website

(At UCSC, it is unix.ic.ucsc.edu/~your_id/public_html)

Prepare your HTML file and test it locally

Upload from your local machine to your web server account

(unix.ic.ucwc.edu/~your_id/public_html)

Test the page with your local browser
