Projects

Grading will be based upon the homework scores, the midterm, and the final project.

** The midterm may replace lower scores on the homeworks.

** The final project score may replace lower scores of homework or the midterm.

The final project is to be based on a proposal.

** The proposal is to be submitted repeatedly until approved.

The final project may be planned and completed by individuals or teams.

The final project must be presented to the class in the final exam period.

The project is to be an abstract animation with coordinated sound.

** The work is to be written in NetLogo.

** It must incorporate some algorithm of chaos theory or fractal geometry.

For a passing grade, a written description of the presentation as it is to be given, including your NetLogo model, must be emailed to me by 4 pm on March 20 (the day before the final session).
