Projects
- Grading will be based upon the homework scores, the midterm, and the final project.
- ** The midterm may replace lower scores on the homeworks.
- ** The final project score may replace lower scores of homework or the midterm.
- The final project is to be based on a proposal.
- ** The proposal is to be submitted repeatedly until approved.
- The final project must be planned and completed by individuals.
Main Track
- The final project must be presented to the class in the final exam period.
- The project is to be an abstract animation with coordinated sound.
- ** The work is to be written in NetLogo.
- ** The model must be suitable for performance.
- ** It must incorporate some algorithm of chaos theory or fractal geometry.
- A 30-60 second video of a performance of the model, and a copy ot the NetLogo model,
- must be emailed to me the day before the final session.
Alternate track
- An approved essay of 5-10 pages as PDF
- must be emailed to me the day before the final session.
