Projects

Grading will be based upon the homework scores, quizes, the midterm, and the final project.

** The midterm may replace lower scores on the homeworks and quizes.

** The final project score may replace lower scores of homework or the midterm.

The final project is to be based on a proposal.

** The proposal is to be submitted repeatedly until approved.

The final project must be planned and completed by individuals.

The final project must be presented to the class in the final exam period.

The project is to be an abstract animation with coordinated sound.

** The work is to be written in NetLogo.

** The model must be suitable for performance.

** It must incorporate some algorithm of chaos theory or fractal geometry.

A 30-60 second video of a performance of the model, and a copy ot the NetLogo model,

must be emailed to me the day before the final session.
