MS#14, Psychotronic Vibrations (4 pages, 1973) by Veda Vyaasa, UCSC. B. Readings MS#98, Complex Dynamical Systems, (5 pages, 1998). Chaos in Discrete Dynamical Systems, 1997 Ch. 1, Introduction (pages 3-9) and Chapter 2, 1D (Sections 2.1-2.5; pages 11-23). B. Experiments Download the NetLogo model logistic.nlogo and experiment with various values of the "R" slider to obtain static, 2-periodic, and chaotic attractors. Download the NetLogo model logisticresponse02.nlogo and experiment with various values of the "R-min and R-max" sliders to locate a period 5 window as accurately as you can. Grab an image of the NetLogo interface showing the 5-periodic window and send it as an attachment to email to me at "rha@ucsc.edu". C.
