A passing grade requires a term project.

Teamwork

You are encouraged to work in teams, yet each student must have a unique project.

Presentations

The projects will be presented in the FINALS period for this class, which is in our classroom, Porter C-118, at noon on Tuesday March 21.

Screenshots

Each project must be accompanied by a representative screenshot on your personal UCSC website before the final period.

Assignments

Each project:
  1. must be a playable ocular harpsichord programmed in p5.js.
  2. must include some algorithm from fractal geometry or chaos theory.
  3. must include a 16-second video recording of a performance of visual music
    -- on your own ocular harpsichord -- that accompanies a piece of recorded music.
At the final presentation, you will be asked to demonstrate and explain your software.
