will be based on the midterm and on-time weekly homework.
The remaining 30% will
be determined by the open-notes final exam or project.

We will closely follow the text, esp. Chs. 1-7, 13-18.
In addition, we may be covering:
- History of neural networks
- Chaos in neural networks
- Novel applications
How to succeed: Attend all lectures, turn in all homeworks on-time.
