Course Concepts, Part I, GaryThe first six weeks will be a unit unit on fractals and how they can be used to model environmental phenomenon. Students will also do preparatory exercizes for the second part.Course Concepts, Part II, RalphFinal four weeks. The main emphasis will be on applications to environmental problems. Students will create a model for an application of their choice in the NetLogo programming language.
