GRADE SIX: the required math elements


  • Topics: Euclid, Books III, IV, constructions;
  • History: Thales, Pythagoras, Plato;
  • Activities: The Monochord, musical scales, ratios, canons of sculptural and architectural proportion; verify the Pythagorean theorem for arbitrary right triangles by measuring the sides and areas.
