The Gyre of History, Round

These are our final steps toward the visualization of world cultural history, the evolution of consciousness, and Thompson's CHEC or Spiral Curriculum for the Ross School.
  • Take the graph of supcomplexity, turn it so the axis of historical time is vertical, increasing upwards.
  • Take one copy of the 2D model, round, hold it horizontally, and extend it upwards along the rotated graph of supcomplexity.
This results in this round water tank, or gyre, like a stack of hat boxes.
