We now carry out the process defined above, in the context of the exemplary subweb with N = 9 displayed in Table 1. Using the connectivity matrix [C(i, j)] for this subweb given in Table 2 and the sizes S(i) given in Table 1, we obtain the 9 by 9 synergy matrix for the UC system, shown in Table 3.
